A cabbage white for my princess

This is my little girls favourite kind of butterfly, a cabbage white. I made it from white felt and added a safety pin to the back so she can wear it as a brooch on her denim jacket.

My first attempt at embossing biscuits :o)

Not really sure if your supposed to emboss biscuits but I had the letter embossers and the idea popped into my head so I gave it ago :o)
To make them extra special, pink fairy dust and chocolate sprinkles were called for :o)
Im sure my little girl is going to be very excited in the morning when she sees her own personalised pink glittery biscuits and my little boy will just love eating them :o)
Aw well that was a fun hour n half spent creating, time for a cuppa and to try one :o)

Baking creations from me and my little princess

We made these cute butterfly biscuits then did a joint splatter affect with the icing to make them look fun and girly, it was emilys idea to put an icing pearl decoration on each biscuit :o)
These cakes show my first ever attempt at piping buttercream, i usually just dollop it on. we went for cute and mostly pink decorations on top, the chocolate one is especially for my little boy :o)

My first blanket design

I got the inspiration to start making blankets when my daughter was born, she received alot of blankets when she was born but they were all white and plain and i thought WHY cant they be abit more interesting?
So during the night time feeds i started designing fun and more exciting blankets in my head. I brought this one to reality at christmastime 2006 :o)

How to transform a boring nappy box into a fab little carboard box toy car for your little ones to play in:

Take 1 unwanted nappy box, 2 round plastic holders, a cereal box, glue and paint.
Draw your windscreen, face and wheels onto your cereal box, cut out and paint. Glue all your cutouts, 2 plastic holders (headlights) onto your box and go round in a black marker so everything pops out. Add paper windows.
Get the kids to help decorate your little car and then zoom off they go for a test ride :o)

Just need alittle refinement of the edges to do now, the back of our car and the making of the steering wheel and then it will be completed :o) x
